Eli has been in
kindergarten for just two months, but what a change. He no longer whines about
everything, and he has become very polite, thanking everyone profusely and
apologizing immediately. He is going to bed without much complaint and getting
up smiling. He has memorized everything he needs to for school, and he is
working on tying his shoes. He reads more, does his homework and practices his flashcards
willingly. “I am a big boy now,” he tells me. He most certainly is.
